Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription

Adobe recently released more details on it's Creative Cloud service. Basically, they will stop producing creative suites that you can buy and instead offer it's software to be downloaded for around $50 bucks per month. Also, they are releasing CS6 this year, but only those who have CS5 and above will be able to get it for the upgrade price. Wow, that's a lot to hit you with all at once.

I don't know how I feel about this since I felt like I was forced to buy CS5.5 in order to have an option of upgrading to CS6, and I sorta wanted it's html5 tools. I actually was fine was CS4, I felt like it had everything I needed, and when CS5 was released, the features they added seemed more like add-ons that were nice, but not necessary.

Overall I guess I can see what Adobe's trying to do, I guess they need constant revenue and the subscription setup will do that. I just wish they had gone about it a better way, I felt like I had to make an abrupt financial decision which leaves me a little disappointed. What do you guys think?
